4 Core-Strengthening Exercises

The basic abdominal crunch is pretty much old news at this point. And let’s be honest, they aren’t the most exciting of exercises. Plus, it’s always a great decision in your fitness journey to take it up a notch, and try new exercises that will not only challenge you, but will help you attain a better performance since a strong core is key to achieving that

Try these fun and effective moves to mix up your workout

  • Leg raises
  • Reverse crunches

For 1 & 2, make sure to keep your lower back on the ground. If that seems too difficult for you, all you have to do is not bring your legs as low down

  • Plank with leg lift – If you want a strong core, it is important to include lower back exercises to your routine. This move is great for your glutes, abs, and lower back
  • Pulse ups – Place your arms at your side to help with the balance. Bring your back off the ground using your core, then bring your legs straight without touching the ground

Do 20 reps of each exercise and repeat the cycle 4 times
